Today i have been doing a work about taha whanau here are the photos of my grandparents, on the left hand side is my grandpa taufa'ao and on the right side is my grandma tina. but the image is what they did on there last friday because it was my grandma's birthday and last thursday it was my grandpas birthday. my favourite part was when i eat the cake and the food which was really good.
Maori language Moment
in 1972 there were 30,000 signatures, were dlivered to the safe guard the maori language needed to be protected.
1. because new zealand is there actual country, cause new zealand people speaks maori. but there is only 3 types of language.
2. because it is apart of everyone's life
3. not dead, the language is alive.

Taha whanau/ ko hoku famili!!
Today i have been doing work about taha whanau but we have to do it in tongan language which ko hoku famili and here are some example for you to know: )
Tongan history/Ta'ovala know your roots
Ta'ovala:
Today I will be going to write about why tongans wear a ta’ovala. Well tongans wear their own ta’ovala like at a wedding, birthdays, funeral, Church and also when men’s go’s to kava and all that stuff.
Well back in the days a group of tongans was onced arrived by a boat at the Tu’i tonga but they had a really rough ride on the boat. So their clothes looked a bit funky so they took the sail down which is like a ta’ovala.
