Taha wairua/national anthem in sign language/sign language is for everyone.

 

Today i have been doing a work about taha wairua, this task was about ding the national anthem in sign language. the hardest part about the national anthem is doing the sign language.

Taha whanau/ Sign language week

This week it is sign language week in Aotearoa, so room 3 had been decided to make a video about language week, and also to make a video about it, but here's a video that i made for myself. the most hard part was that i have to spell my name correctly. but i tried my best :)

 Today i have been doing a work about taha whanau here are the photos of my grandparents, on the left hand side is my grandpa taufa'ao and on the right side is my grandma tina. but the image is what they did on there last friday because it was my grandma's birthday and last thursday it was my grandpas birthday. my favourite part was when i eat the cake and the food which was really good.

The 3 things that i did with my whanau druing the weekend was...

1. What did was is Helping my Mum cook the food for my family.
2.                    Cleaning doing the washing, cleaning the bathroom, the toilet and doing the dishing.
3. Playing games.

But this just 2 photo of me,my mum and my Nana but it's just a random photo to know what my mum looks like but that all my three things that i do during the weekend.

Yesterday Room 3 did a work About Taha whanau so all we had to do is write about the eldest person that old in your family so for example my Papa likes Playing rugby or loves eating cake, and this is what i came up with myself.

This Morning Nina Showed us a way from how to clear up our mind. She used Meditation. She also used a Soundtrack that played sounds of nature that was in the background, so while Nina focused on 

 clearing her mind. Here's are some 5 way you could clear your mind.

1. Play some realax music
2. Think of something thats peaceful
3. sway your arms around
4. imagine of a tree swaying on the top of the mountain
5. It feels like your Praying to Jesus

The reason why this is Important to us is because it Meditate our Mind really well and it also clears Everything.

Today we had to see how Many star Jump we can do in 1 Minute and I Decided to do this star Jump With my fellow Friend Tatia and this is how we did our own star jump by turning around.

Taha Wairua- Spirital wellbeing

Todays for our study on Te whare Tapa wha we are looking at Taha Wairua.

This is to do with our spiritual wellbeing, what we believe in. There are many ways people show Taha wairua. We talked about this and came up with this list:
1. People Pray in public and in private
2. Some people dress a certain set way to show their spiritual well being - what they believe in
3. Read and live by a certain set of guidlines: Bible, Quran etc
4. Signs or symbols made with their hands, in jewellery, clothing etc

What other ways can you think of.
Today our activity was to create are a card to bless another person from our bubble, to make their spiritual Taha 'Wairua' stronger.



I will be keep on do some drawings on the card for my mothe to lift her taha wairua up and make her really happy:) 
             

Taha Hinengaro: I'm grateful for...

1. I'm Grateful for the Goverment that gave us the homework to do.

2. I'm Grateful for my Mum and Aunty for giving us food for my Grandparents Even though we Argue over food which is funny.

3. I'm Grateful for having knowledge to go back to school to learn new stuffs and spending a lot of time with one of my friends.
4. I'm Grateful for my mum help me to do with my homework and stuffs.

5. last but not least I'm grateful for having a nice best teacher in school that teach us nice things.
